Going Back

So I did a thing! I went back. I went back to a place I said I would never go. A very sweet lady from our hospital was hospitalized at the very same hospital Rachel Jennings Lam went to heaven from. In the past three years, I have done one hospital visitation, and it was at a different hospital. Feeling victorious, I had still vowed within myself I would never go into the “other” hospital. There was no way that I was going to go up there but I still called her and maintained contact with her family. When I found out she was still in the hospital two days later, I felt so much that I needed to go up there. Afterall, that is one of the things that I do as a Believer as well as a Pastor’s wife. I called Juliette Fonseca Lam, my new daughter-in-law the Lord gave me, to pray. Her prayer was perfect. In her prayer, she reminded that I was the Lord’s daughter and so was the lady in the hospital. That’s all I needed! I began quoting Scriptures out loud to remind myself that I was created in God‘s image, I am fearfully and wonderfully made, no weapon formed against me will prosper, by His stripes, I am healed, and His Word will accomplish what it was sent to accomplish! Feeling armed and dangerous, as well as on an endorphin high from having just left the gym and drinking an energy drink, I bounced right into that hospital. I picked up a couple things from the gift shop. Of course, one was a small balloon with a sunflower on it, and the other was a vase of Gerber daisies that were red like the Blood of Jesus.I was very happy to pray with this sweet lady but had to snap a photo of something God placed there for me to see. On the wall was an award that had sunflowers on it!!!! Mind you I could’ve went to the right or the left to get to this lady’s room but the nurses there actually told me to go to the left. That is the only way I would’ve seen that sunflower award on the wall. Isn’t God phenomenal?! I listened to the voice of the Holy Spirit, as well as the voice of the nurses God placed there at this specific time and place in history to give me the directions so I would carry out His will for the day and get a Godwink as well.
