The Season of Healing

Entry By: Julieta Fonseca Lam

When I entered Pastor Jeff’s house I was very grateful to God and his entire family as they opened the doors of their house to me, despite meeting in 2019, we were only together at Church events and special occasions. That same day they not only blessed me with a roof but also a job, so that same night I prayed to God and thanked Him for all His kindness and love shown through the family. I thought they only wanted me to stay with them for one night, but one day turned into five months. One morning I was thinking that Pastor Angie needed help to heal her soul and heart because of what happened to her beloved daughter. I didn’t feel able to help her so I prayed to God and asked Him if she was ever going to heal from the deep pain she felt. I asked that He would me a sign. I asked him that the barren tree behind their house would sprout green twigs since it was the only tree that was dry around there. To my surprise, soon the tree began to grow green leaved and even flowers. That for me that was the sign I was waiting for. Thank you God for Your love and mercy.

Note From Angie:

Julie had no idea what an emotional wreck I was when she arrived. Honestly, after serving in many different countries already, this free-spirited young woman was planning to go to Iraq! But God had other plans. By being obedient to His Will and not her own plan, Julie “broke protocol.” One morning Julie joined me as I spoke with a group of ladies and we allowed ourselves to be vulnerable for a series of questions and answers from them. It was that morning I found out about Julie‘s question to the Lord regarding my healing. I remember her words “will this woman ever heal?” The sign the Lord had given her regarding the tree finally made sense to me. The tree she was looking at was the Royal Poinciana. It was the month of April. It looked completely barren. You see, the Royal Poinciana does not go into “season” to bloom until between May and July. Julie is from Mexico. She did not know this. But that tree did indeed go “into season” bringing green leaves and those fiery orange red clusters of blooms! Little did I know then during my distress, God had already dispatched a missionary from Mexico to come to minister to me and intercede for my healing. I AM BLESSED🌻❤️🌈
