BREAKING PROTOCOL

I feel like I just got punched in the stomach…in a sad and happy way. Abbie was so happy putting up ornaments and went to put up a sunflower one when I did say “That’s Mommy’s special ornament.” Abbie looked right up and said “Mommy’s not ever coming back, is she?” So I told her “no, she isn’t coming back here but one day we get to go to heaven to be with Jesus and her.” She was like “WHYYY???!!!” So I told her “well since we have Jesus in our hearts, that’s what we want to do so we can go there and be in heaven forever and ever!” Do you wanna know what that 4 year-old did???? She started dancing around saying “God please be in my heart! Please be in that special place in my heart!”
